This afternoon, I found out that the beautiful wife, mom of two, and genius behind Sitting In A Tree passed from her battle with cancer. Without her knowing at the time, Tori was the reason why I made the final push to start this fashion blog. It was what she wrote on her Instagram. She wrote, “At some point I realized we take a lot of pics of the kids alone, documenting their lives as if we weren’t there. I’m trying to change that, so these little people can look back and see us as we were too, holding their hands + kissing their faces, eating up every moment of this life. So, here’s to seeing my face around here more.”. I started this fashion blog to not only motivate other moms that’s fashion is not lost once you have kids but to also have more photos with my kids. It’s true what Tori said, we need to be in more pictures with our kids. I’m so heartbroken she had to suffer but happy she’s now resting. I’m so heartbroken for her husband and young kids (ages 4 and 1). Tori was 37 when she passed. Way. Too. Young. Life is so not fair. I can’t stop crying at all the messages written about her. I can’t even imagine leaving behind my kids. I’m going to unplug for now and hold onto my babies more tightly. Rest in peace, Tori. It was an honor to have met both you and Austin years ago.
