Hair Pulling and Shoeless Holiday Session
Happiest New Year! Happy to be back into the groove of things. Here are some of my favorites from our holiday card and another from when we were in Florida a few weeks ago. Being a photographer by profession, I’m so blessed to have great many talented photographer friends. Our holiday card session was cancelled and rescheduled so many times due to weather. On the day of this shoot, we left the boys’ shoes at home so they were forced to wear their snow boots. Lol. Classic us. It was quick and my kids were wild and crazy, as usual. Our Florida shoot was another quick one. I think it was like ten minutes! Lol. We were losing light and the kids weren’t interested so we just let it be.
Do I have any new years resolution? I don’t typically give myself one. When I do, it’s always to cook more. I love food and a huge foodie but cooking, not so much. What I would LOVE to do more this year is travel. Travel, travel, travel. While vacationing, our rental had a DVD player in the car. O.M.G. I don’t know why it took me sooooo long to think about getting one for mine but wow, it was like discovering a magical unicorn. I kept everyone QUIET! So I think with a DVD player in my car, we can now travel long distances.
I would like to hear some of your resolutions if you have any?

It’s the Little Things…
I talked on Instagram about not only loving this gorgeous weather we’re having but new shooting locations. The Spanish moss, just stunning. I know some people think they’re creepy looking but I think they’re sooooo pretty and romantic. Especially when there’s a nice breeze and the way it sways around like they’re dancing. I’ll be doing a shoot later today that I’m excited about and any guesses where we’ll be shooting? You know what else I’m excited about? Taking the kids to Legoland tomorrow. Crazy how things like Legoland gets you excited once you have kids. Seeing their faces light up is the best feeling in the world. Can’t wait!

Mauve Mist in the Sunset
Hello from Florida. Sorry I’ve been a little MIA. We’ve been enjoying the Florida weather, except for one day when it turned 70 and Floridians freaked out by whipping out their jackets and pants. Lol. The kids are loving quality time with their grandparents and their daily golf cart rides. It’s amazing how a simple ride to pick up mail can get them so excited they’re jumping up and down like we’re offering them candy. There’s something about coming down here that always get us so tired. The Giant and I can’t ever figure it out. Maybe it’s the fresh air? We find ourselves going to bed earlier and earlier. Not complaining though, we’re getting some much needed rest!
Till next time!
